Description

Quattro Multifunctional

The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro automatically connects to the active source. The main output has a "no break" function. In the event of a grid failure, or disconnection of shore power or generator, the Quattro takes over powering the connected loads. It happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption. The second output is active only when alternating current is available on one of the Quattro's inputs. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air conditioning or a water heater, can be connected to this output.

The Quattro will prevent overloading of a limited source of AC power, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, the battery charge will be reduced automatically when an overcharge occurs. The second level boosts the output of a generator or shore power with energy drawn from the battery.

Up to 6 Quattros can be operated in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please see our datasheets to see which models are capable of parallel, three phase or split operation.

Monitor and control your Quattro and system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely via the Internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website.
