AGM technology
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed by capillary action in a fiberglass mat located between the plates.
Low self-discharge
Thanks to the use of lead-calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for long periods without recharging. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20C. Self-discharge doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature.
Low internal resistance
Accepts very high charge and discharge rates
High cyclic life capability
Over 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.
