Description
GlobalLink 520
We believe that having an overview of your installation is a key factor in the maintenance and operation of your off-grid energy solutions. Off-grid doesn't have to mean offline, that's why we created the GlobalLink 520. This device will bring 4G LTE-M connectivity to all VE.Direct-enabled devices with no monthly fees or subscriptions, for the first five years.
LTE-M is short for LTE Cat-M1 or Long Term Evolution (4G), category M1. This cellular technology is designed to connect Internet of Things devices to existing 4G towers while using little power. LTE-M supports handoffs and roaming, so it's possible to use this device in a moving vehicle like an RV. Check the list in our GlobalLink 520 manual to see if LTE-M availability is officially confirmed in your region. Coverage increases each week as local providers provide support. Your purchase includes 5 years of connectivity, so there's no need to buy a separate data plan and SIM card.
The GlobalLink 520 is equipped with two communication ports that allow direct connection to the VRM of up to two VE.Direct devices such as a BMV battery monitor and/or an MPPT solar charge controller. With two digital inputs which also act as pulse counters and a remote controllable relay, this is a perfect solution for monitoring and controlling your installation.
The online Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) gives you access to your installation, from anywhere and at any time.
Delivery
Oversized products such as solar panels or heavy products such as refrigerators are excluded from the free shipping policy for orders of $100 or more, as well as the $10 flat rate shipping for orders of $99.99 or less. If an item in your order is one of the restricted items, we will contact you to let you know.
BACK
No return.
