Shipping policy

Standard shipping — standard items

The rates below apply to most products and are calculated automatically at checkout. They do not apply to the heavy or oversized items described below. We ship to all ten Canadian provinces; Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut are excluded.

Quebec: $20 for orders of $249.99 or less; free shipping for orders of $250 or more. Typical transit time: 3 to 9 business days after shipment.

Ontario: flat rate of $24.95. Typical transit time: 5 to 8 business days after shipment.

New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Manitoba and Saskatchewan: flat rate of $39.95. Typical transit time: 5 to 8 business days after shipment.

Alberta: flat rate of $49.95. Typical transit time: 5 to 8 business days after shipment.

British Columbia: flat rate of $59.95. Typical transit time: 5 to 8 business days after shipment.

Important: free shipping on orders of $250 or more applies only to shipping addresses in Quebec. Automatic free shipping is not available in any other province, regardless of order value.

Heavy and oversized items

Refrigerators, freezers, batteries, solar panels, solar energy kits, inverters, inverter-chargers, water heaters, air conditioners, cooktops and ranges, portable toilets and portable power stations are excluded from the standard shipping rates above.

In Quebec: flat rate of $100 per order, regardless of quantity, calculated automatically at checkout. Typical transit time: 3 to 5 business days.

Outside Quebec: shipping is available by quote only because costs vary significantly by destination, weight and dimensions. If no shipping option appears at checkout, contact us at (450) 469-2999 or use the “Request a quote” button on the product page. We will confirm the exact cost before any payment.

Mixed orders

If your order contains both standard and heavy items, the shipping charges from each shipping profile may be added together at checkout. For delivery outside Quebec that includes a heavy item, a quote may be required before the order can be completed.

Store pickup

Pickup is free at our Granby distribution centre, 98 Martin Street, Granby, Quebec J2G 8B3. Select this option at checkout. We will notify you by email as soon as your order is ready.

Customer-arranged transportation

If you choose to arrange transportation yourself, or to have your order picked up by a carrier of your choice, you assume full responsibility from the moment the goods leave our warehouse. We are not responsible for any damage, loss or delay occurring during transportation we did not arrange.

Damage and claims

Please inspect your goods on delivery. Any visible damage must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, at info@refrigaz.com.
