The AGM telecom deep cycle series was designed for use in telecommunication systems. With their front-accessible terminals and small footprint, these batteries are ideal for rack systems. Likewise, these batteries can help solve problems of floor space and access on board boats and vehicles.
AGM technology
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed by capillary action in a fiberglass mat located between the plates.
Low self-discharge
Thanks to the use of lead-calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for long periods without recharging. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20C. Self-discharge doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature.
Low internal resistance
Accepts very high charge and discharge rates
High cyclic life capability
Over 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.
